Adult and Juvenile Osteology Research Workshops in Transylvania (Summer 2021)

The University of South Florida is offering 4-week long (each) intensive training programs, respectively the Adult Osteology Research Workshop and the Juvenile Osteology Research Workshop will train students, both undergraduate and graduate, to conduct osteological analyses and frame appropriate research questions. These programs provide an unique opportunity to conduct extensive hands-on training and research on an exceptional osteological collection.

University of Chicago PREP

The University of Chicago PREP (Post-Baccalaureate Research Education Program) is a post-baccalaureate program designed to provide mentoring, research skills, coursework and a positive learning environment to students who intend to pursue a PhD degree in biomedical science.

New undergraduate research course

New undergraduate research course available at UHM! This is a new research-based course funded through the Provost’s initiative and designed specifically for early undergraduates. Transformational Research Experiences for Early Undergraduates (TReX) is an introductory course that provides discovery-based investigation and hands-on experiences in a wide range of science fields.

Shoals Marine Lab Integrated Ecosystem Research & Management

Dr. Mike Singler, along with 3 others (Dr. Ebett Siddon, Dr. Chris Siddon, Dr. Jennifer Seavey), will be teaching an undergraduate course on Integrated Ecosystem Research and Management at the Shoals Marine Laboratory in the Gulf of Maine during the summer of 2021 (i.e., how to conduct a small-scale IERP).

Relay for Life of Oahu 2021

Join others in the mission to save lives, celebrate lives, and lead the fight for a world without cancer! The Relay for Life movement needs people like you to help multiply their efforts to eliminate cancer as a public health problem. No matter your background or skills, there is a way to help!

The Relay for Life of Oahu 2021 virtual event will take place on October 2, 2021 from 5:00pm to 7:00pm.
