You are invited to present at the Sunset Seminar Series - a unique opportunity for undergraduate students, graduate students, or professionals.
Why: The Coral Resilience Lab at the Hawaiʻi Institute of Marine Biology is partnering with the Kahala Hotel & Resort to educate visitors how to Mālama I Ke Kai. We hope this program will be a small, initial step toward a much larger issue that impacts both local communities and the environment. We feel there are so many great projects in Hawaiʻi to showcase and we have an audience waiting to hear about it!
Who: YOU! Gain professional experience and/or exposure for your project/organization. While the overarching topic is how your environmental or social research supports Hawaiʻi's environment or people, there is room for flexibility. The main goal is to just encourage visitors to better understand and care about the unique place they are visiting. Community members will also be encouraged to attend.
What: Monthly seminars. A 20-30 min presentation on your research, followed by questions from the audience. Parking, pupus and non-alcoholic beverages will be complimentary.

COVID-19 regulations at the time of the presentation will determine whether the venue is indoors or outdoors and the number of attendees. Proof of vaccination or a negative COVID-19 test will be mandatory for the presenter and attendees.
